Supply to Ice Maker Leak

Convenience can be anything but convenient when the water line to the ice maker on the refrigerator leaks.  This is one of the most common causes of water damage and it is almost impossible to purchase a refrigerator that does not include an ice maker. In some instances the line leaks for a very long time before the water damage is discovered.  In this case, not only the first floor was affect but also the finished basement sustained major water damage.  The rec room included a pool table that had to be moved for the mitigation process to be done.
