Summit County office gets flooded

Earlier in 2019 SERVPRO of Barberton / Norton got a call from a local business saying that they had water throughout the office. As a premier water restoration company we knew that timing is key. We got on site within an hour and did a thorough investigation of the damage. There was water in the conference area, offices, storage areas and baths. We started with extraction of the excess water.  Our crews removed all the carpeting and cut the lower section of drywall that was affected. We used air movers and dehumidifiers to get the moisture out of the rooms. The final step was to spray the office down with an EPA registered antimicrobial to help prevent mold growth.  We monitored the drying process daily until the office was properly dried.
